Terms of service
These terms govern CreaseCall game requests, local goalie-roster applications, payments, credits, local sponsor placements, the installable app, and related communications across every listed United States market.
How the service works
A request starts a search and does not guarantee that a goalie will be available. Markets labeled “roster forming” are collecting local supply and demand and may have limited coverage. Payment is not due until CreaseCall assigns a goalie. A match is confirmed after the required payment or game credit is recorded.
Standard price and payout
A standard game of up to 90 minutes costs $40. Square collects the customer payment. CreaseCall records $30 owed to the goalie and a $10 gross platform share before Square processing fees. The goalie payout is scheduled for approximately one hour after the listed puck-drop time, provided the customer has paid and no cancellation, no-show, safety, or service issue requires review. Longer games, tournaments, coaching, or unusual travel may require a separate quote agreed to before payment.
Six-game pass
The $200 pass provides six standard-game credits tied to the purchaser's email. One credit may be used after a goalie is assigned. Credits have no cash value, cannot be resold, and do not expire under the launch offer. Any future change will apply prospectively and will not remove already purchased credits.
Cancellations and refunds
- If CreaseCall or the assigned goalie cancels and no replacement is found, the customer may choose a full refund or replacement credit.
- A customer who cancels at least 12 hours before puck drop may choose a refund or credit.
- Customer cancellations within 12 hours and customer no-shows are ordinarily non-refundable because the goalie reserved the time.
- Refunds required by law are honored. Square processing timelines may affect when funds appear.
Customer responsibilities
Customers must provide accurate game details, a safe and lawful playing environment, appropriate dressing-room information, and prompt notice of changes. The team or ice organizer remains responsible for rink fees, league eligibility, game supervision, and player conduct.
Goalie responsibilities
Goalie applicants must be 18 or older, remain actively registered with USA Hockey for the current season, provide an accurate current confirmation number, accurately describe their experience, maintain full suitable equipment and transportation, and communicate promptly. CreaseCall may verify registration before roster approval. The owner may approve or decline an application during its initial review period; otherwise, an eligible untouched application may become active automatically after approximately 10 minutes. Goalies decide whether to accept each opportunity; CreaseCall does not guarantee a minimum number of games.
Claiming an available skate
CreaseCall may notify approved goalies in the applicable local market when a skate needs coverage. The first approved goalie whose qualifying affirmative response—such as “I'm in,” “yes,” or “I'll take it”—is received for that offer claims the skate. A CreaseCall confirmation resolves simultaneous or near-simultaneous replies. Once claimed, the skate is closed to other goalies unless the assignment is released or canceled.
Assumption of risk
Ice hockey involves a risk of injury. CreaseCall coordinates introductions and payment records but does not operate the rink, officiate games, supervise participants, or replace required league, team, rink, or personal insurance.
Local sponsor placements
Paid local placements are labeled “Sponsored.” Campaign scope, dates, creative, pricing, budget caps, and billing are confirmed separately before activation. Cost-per-click campaigns use recorded outbound clicks; flat campaigns use the agreed placement price. Dashboard counts are operational measurements and may be reviewed for obvious errors, automated traffic, or misuse before final billing. CreaseCall may reject or remove advertising that is unlawful, misleading, unsafe, unrelated to the local audience, or damaging to the community.
Installable app
The CreaseCall web app is free to install and may update automatically as the website changes. App Store or Google Play availability, if offered, remains subject to those stores' account, device, and review requirements. Data submitted through the app is handled under the same privacy policy as the website.
Suspension and changes
CreaseCall may decline or suspend requests or roster access for unsafe conduct, fraud, repeated cancellations, harassment, nonpayment, or materially inaccurate information. Material term changes will be posted with a new effective date.
